Maverick is a beautiful Red Tri mini aussie. He weighs 34.5 pounds and stands 18". Right on the edge of large mini or small standard, Maverick is the perfect family size dog. Maverick is very loving with his family and all strangers that he meets. This guy truly just wants to be your best friend. He loves snuggling on the couch, going for long walks, and following our 3 kids around the property. This fluffy boy does not have a mean bone in his body and just wants to be loved.

Maverick was all clear on the full Aussie Panel from Paw Print Genetics, except that he carries 1 copy of the MDR1 gene. For more information on the MDR1 gene please click the link below. A full list of drugs that may cause issues with MDR1 positive dogs will be included with the puppy package of all puppies. My suggestion is to avoid these drugs with all herding type dogs regardless of their MDR1 status, but this is a discussion you may want to follow up with your veterinarian on.
